I’m an artist, designer, and maker who turns ideas into physical experiences.

One of my earliest memories is of fascination with the work bench in the basement of my childhood home: drills, sawdust, and hardware in clear drawers laid out like a candy shop. Once I was old enough to hold a hammer and tear duct tape, it was game on.

I currently create using textiles, electronics, drawing, and digital media, and industrial fabrication techniques. I make interactive pieces that encourage my audience to engage beyond simply looking and draw influence from theater, museums, puppetry, coding, sci fi and fantasy media, and everyday tactile experiences.

My artistic practice is also an engineering practice. I combine tinkering and iterative design, deep dives into new materials and techniques, and a belief that growth happens when we push boundaries. I begin projects when an idea bites me and I ask, “what do I need to bring this into the physical world?”

Visual Art

I work primarily in graphite, pen, and Adobe Photoshop. Drawing also plays a critical role in my 3D design and fabrication process.

Textiles & Costuming

I create garments and costumes that you don't just wear, you feel. I'm currently exploring the integration of wearable electronics to enhance social interactions.

Fabrication

I build spaces and props that invite interaction, an instinctive approach I honed in museums and theater. And if I don't know how to make something at first, I find out.
